An important part of Ross & Ewing’s business is keeping aware of the market. A recent trip to Retromobile, the prestigious classic car show in Paris proved a good opportunity to meet important european dealers and to attend the Bonhams auction. This event created worldwide interest with the sale of several important cars, including the 1937 Bugatti Type 57S Atalante which fetched €3,417,500, the Bugatti Type 13  'Black Bess' - €2,427,500 and a quite astonishing €337,500 for a Citroen DS23 EFi Cabriolet. The sale showed that the collectors’ car market is still alive and well in Europe and that classic vehicles are still a good investment.
